Hi!
It would be so great if you could help me!
I owe a russian pony and I try to find out which breed it is. For me it looks like a Bashkir but maybe you can tell me more.
He is 25 now and I know not very much about him except that he's from Russia. When he was young he somehow came to the former DDR (Eastern Germany).
His coat is curly in the winter and very thick... to thick for German temperatures 
. His height is 1.40m and he is very heavy. The head looks like the head of a mongolian horse... it's little bit roman nosed...

He's so cute))) Anyway, i guess, may be it's something middle), but i'm not sure.. Anyway, in second one summer pic he's really looks like bashkir. And bashkir horses also have the same height. So, i guess, you're right about his origin.
