This event is organised in accordance with :
- FEI Statutes (20th edition, effective 17th April 1999)
- General Regulations (20th edition, effective 1st January 2000)
- Veterinary Regulations (8th edition, effective 1st January 1998)
- The Rules for Dressage Events (20th edition, effective 1st January 1999), and if applicable the Rules for the World Cup Dressage Events
- All subsequent published revisions, the provisions of which will take precedence.
- An arbitration procedure is provided for in the FEI Statutes and General Regulations referred to above. In accordance with this procedure, any appeal against a decision rendered by the FEI or its official bodies is to be settled exclusively by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanne, Switzerland.

6. FACILITIES OFFERED (Art.' 132, 133)

A. COMPETITORS & GROOMS
* Accomodation and food for riders , grooms and other members of the NF teams are on their own expences.
* Accomodation will be provided within 5 min walk from the showground. Apr. Price per person - 15 USD per day.
* Reservations will be done on the request made with the nominated entries.
* OC will provide sufficient sanitary and showering facilities, with hot and cold water for male and female grooms.

B. HORSES
* OC will provide boxes with bedding for horses from August 22 till 27.
* Horses feeding is on the expences of the riders
* Transport expenses to be paid by the riders.

C. WELCOME

The time and date of arrival of riders and horses and their means of transport must be given to the ОС in order to facilitate them on arrival.

D. LOCAL TRANSPORTATION - ARRANGEMENTS FROM HOTEL TO SHOWGROUNDS

Hotel is within two minutes walk from the stables and showground.

E. ADVERTISING AND PUBLICITY ON COMPETITORS AND HORSES (Art. 136.1-2)

The competitors are authorised to carry the logo of their personal sponsor on the saddle cloth in accordance with Art. 136.1-2.

2. VETERINARY ASPECTS "A" VETERINARY REGULATIONS, 8th Edition, 1st January 1998 THE FOLLOWING TEXT

MUST BE PUBLISHED VERBATIM IN ALL SCHEDULES : VETERINARY EXAMINATIONS. HORSE INSPECTIONS AND PASSPORT CONTROLS

These will be carried out in accordance with Vet. Regs. Art. 1011; Rules for Dressage Events Annex 1.

General Regulations 20th Edition, effective 1st January 2000 will apply : In accordance with Art. 139.1

Every horse entered for any competition at CDNs, CDIs* and CDIs** in a foreign country, and all horses entered for CDIs***, CDIOs**, CDIOs***, Championships, Regional and Olympic Games, whether at home or in foreign countries, must have an official FEI Passport, or a National Passport approved by the FEI, as a means of identification and to establish ownership. In accordance with Art. 139.2

Horses taking part in CDNs, CDIs* and CDIs** in their own country are not required to have such a passport as is mentioned in paragraph 1. All such horses must be properly registered and identifiable by diagram, and unless there is no national requirement for equine influenza vaccination in the host country and in the country of origin, all horses must have a valid vaccination certificate.

EQUINE INFLUENZA VACCINATION. Vet Regs. Annex VI

All horses and ponies for which an FEI Passport or a National Passport approved by the FEI has been issued must have the vaccination section endorsed by a veterinarian who is not the owner of the animal, staling that it has received two injections for primary vaccination against equine influenza, given no less than 21 days and no more than 92 days apart. In addition, a booster injection must be recorded as having been given within each succeeding 12 months subsequent to the second injection of the primary vaccination. None of these injections must have been given within the preceding 7 days including the day of the competition or of entry into the competition stables.

The above are the minimum requirements for influenza vaccination. Both primary and first and subsequent booster injections should be given according to the manufacturers instructions which will fall within the stipulation of the FEI ruling. In many cases booster injections are recommended by the manufacturers at intervals more frequent than 12 months.

SAMPLING FOR PROHIBITED SUBSTANCES. Vet. Regs. Chap V & VI and Annex III

Special guidelines are applicable for events covered by the FEI's Medication Control Program (Groups I and II only). At all other international events horses are subject to sampling for Prohibited Substances. Such sampling is compulsory in CDIOs**, CDIOs***, World Cup Qualifiers, Cup Finals, Championships and Games, and is recommended for other categories of CDIs.

3. VETERINARY ASPECTS "В"

VII. MISCELLANEOUS
1. OBJECTIONS/COMPLAINTS (Art. 167-171)
All complaints and objections to be valid must be made in writing and accompanied by a deposit of 150 CHF or equivalent.

2. GENERAL CLASSIFICATION AT THE END OF THE COMPETITIONS

3. PRIZE - CLASSIFICATION (Art. 128, 129, 130)

4. DEDUCTIONS FROM PRIZE MONEY

5. DISTRIBUTION OF PRIZES AND INDEMNITIES (Art. 130) / .
The prize money will be distributed at the price-giving ceremony after each copmetition. Twenty-five percent of participants per competition must receive prize money. (one prize for each group of four commenced competitors or part thereof)

6. DOCTOR, VETERINARIAN, FARRIER
The services will be provided at the stables & show-ground at the expences of the riders.

7. INSURANCES
All owners and competitors are personally responsible for damages to third parties caused by themselves, their employees, their agents or their horses. They are therefore strongly advised to take out third-party insurance providing full coverage for participation in equestrian events at home and abroad, and to keep the policy up to date.

8. EVENTS ORGANISATION (Art. 114 -115)
In exceptional circumstances, together with the approval of Chefs d'Equipe and Ground Jury the ОС reserves the right to modify the schedule in order to clarify any matter or matters arising from an omission or due to unforeseen circumstances. Any such changes must be notified to all competitors and officials as soon as possible and they must be reported to the FEI Secretary General by the Foreign Judge.

9. ENTRY RIGHT TO SHOWGROUNDS (Art. 133, 1005)
The passes to the showground will be given to the owners, grooms, riders, coaches. The passes to the special stend will be provided to the horses owners.

WELFARE OF THE HORSE

CODE OF CONDUCT

1. In all equestrian sports the horse must be considered paramount
2. The well being of the horse shall be above the demands of breeders, trainers, riders, owners, dealers, organisers, sponsors or officials.
3. All handling and veterinary treatment must ensure the health and welfare of the horse.
4. The highest standards of nutrition, health, sanitation and safety shall be encouraged and maintained at all times.
5. Adequate provision must be made for ventilation, feeding, watering and maintaining a healthy environment during transportation.
6. Emphasis should be placed on increasing education in training and equestrian practices and on promoting scientific studies in equine health.
7. In the interests of the horse, the fitness and competence of the rider shall be regarded as essential.
8. All riding and training methods must take account of the horse as a living entity and must not include any technique considered by the FEI to be abusive.
9. National Federations should establish adequate controls in order that all persons and bodies under their jurisdiction respect the welfare of the horse.
10. The national and international Rules and Regulations in equestrian sport regarding the health and welfare of the horse must be adhered to not only during national and international events, but also in training. Competition Rules and Regulations shall be continually reviewed to ensure such welfare.
